Parents: Do you read your kids’ blogs? Kids: would you be upset if your parents read your blog?

Question by Big Bobby Clobber: Parents: Do you read your kids’ blogs? Kids: would you be upset if your parents read your blog?
I’ve just read a report on the fact that most kids who have blogs get very upset when they find out that their parents have seen their blog, to the point of posting rude comments online (such as “Mom – get the f*** off my site”), claiming that it is an invasion of privacy.

I find this interesting, since the blog is public information, is it not? If something is published in a blog, it is open for the entire world to view. What do you say?

I totally agree with you. If a person is blogging and putting that information onto cyberspace, then it is public information available for anyone to access. If you want privacy, keep a diary or journal on paper.
