Ok, so I went on a diet and exercise plan. I lasted…about a week. And in 3 or 4 of those days I lost 5-6 lbs. I was like whoa, how’d this happen? Then after that I started to slowly gain weight…like .5 lb. a day, and I started to get frustrated. Then I stopped. Now I’ve started back up. I’ve only lasted like 3 days, and I haven’t checked my weight, but I kinda gave up again…yet this time I felt like I was losing weight, but slowly. But I gave up anyway, for 2 days, until I start up tomorrow that is.

But why? Why do I keep starting and stopping? Is it that I don’t have enough motivation? Maybe I am just feeling tired? Or because I’m doing it alone? Or because my old lifestyle is too much of a lifestyle for me? Will it be easier for me to adjust when I go off to college in 2 weeks?

are you depriving yourself of some food that you really love? that would explain why you stop it.
exercising with someone will help you continue, but if you really dont feel motivated, then you’re just going to have less luck.
honestly dieting is not really the right way to go. you should exercise daily, or every other day, and you should eat in moderation. just make sure you’re not having too much of something. and make sure to eat more fruits and veges and drink lots of water.

it is the change in habits that are usually the most difficult. I have changed mine to healthy eating and now my favorite food (mcdonalds big mac) sound awful and makes me ill just to think about
