Hey CC,
If you want to start a home based business, there will be fees involved and business expenses. There are many legit business opportunities out there in direct sales, multi-level and network marketing. There are great companies to work with, but having a business isn’t for everyone. It’s worked real well for us. I now work this full-time and my wife works it part-time. This job can be done over the Internet, over the phone, or in person and is LEGIT !!! F/T, P/T, Free Training, Low Investment, No Inventory, No Sales.
If you’re serious about being your own boss, making an honest income commensurate with the effort you put forth.

One of the recipes I’ve been working on for our new issue is just not cooperating. I’ve done eight different iterations of the basic idea, tweaking and changing, going back to the drawing board, reading, starting again.

This happens. Sometimes inspiration comes, but sometimes when I’m struggling with a recipe it’s a sign the basic idea is not good enough. It may be the recipe doesn’t quite fit into the ethos of An Honest Kitchen; the idea itself is not interesting enough; or I just can’t make it delicious enough, given the parameters of healthy, honest food.

The day after I made the decision to ditch this recipe, inspiration struck. I now have a version, which is quite different, but I’m really happy with.

I’m tired of eating the same thing day after day and end up finding myself eating the junk they have at work. I’m hoping you guys can give me some inexpensive ideas for healthy foods/snacks to take to work. I have lost 34 pounds and don’t want working again to stop the weight loss. And, we don’t have a fridge, so everything goes into my cooler.

The easiest I’ve found is fruit and yogurt. Veggies if you like them. They’re all small, great snacks you can buy in bulk and cut up and bring what you need.

My problem is I’m a picky eater and I really don’t like very many different types of foods even though I have tried them. I really don’t like anything green: lettuce, broccoli, peas, you name it if it’s green I don’t like the taste of it. I don’t eat red meat either.

My favorite foods to eat have been the pastas like lasagna and spaghetti and especially alfredo but I know those are probably the fattening and heavy foods that I should stay away from.

I just want to work out, tone up and get into shape and maybe drop about 10 or 20 pounds. But I am having a hard time with healthy foods to eat that actually taste good too. Any suggestions?

Since you are picky you should see a nutrionist so they can help you form a diet with foods you enjoy. You can even start Weight Watchers because you can eat almost anything on there, just in small amounts.

Alright man, many things factor into obtaining a six-pack. The fact is though, you already have a six-pack (everyone does). It’s just covered by fat (either a thin layer, or a huge stack).

So, the first important aspect is diet. You MUST eat right to obtain the best results. No more greasy, fast food shit. You need alot of whole grain foods (wheat, cereals, oats, ect.), next you will need to eat more vegetables and fruits, and of course good quality protein (chicken, nuts, fish, hell even a protein shake), and NO SODAS whatsoever… water, water, and more water. Try to eat 6 small meals a day (this will boost your metabolism and help you loose that layer of fat over your abs)

Next, Fitness. You will need to do alot of cardio exercise to help you loose some weight around the waist. Run, treadmill, stair climber, ect. Along with that you will need good core workouts (body planks, sit ups, push ups, and crunches. Remember sit ups alone won’t get you anywhere. You have to do alot more workouts than just sit ups.

Keep up with the exercise routine and diet, and please be patient. Results won’t happen over night.
