I just finished working out and its almost 10pm I have not ate dinner yet so I thought I better eat something because I am a little hungry I will not be going to bed anytime soon probably not till at least 2 am. Just wondering what some healthy options would be to eat for dinner!? I like pasta, and I also was thinking maybe a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? Anyone got any other ideas??! Thanks!!

I like to have a blended mix of things. I use water instead of milk (lactose not good for the muscles). Here is what I drink (organic is best)
put into blender: water, flax seed, hemp hearts, one banana, slice of ginger, mixed berries, oatmeal, and some protein powder (put an egg in instead because protein powder isn’t healthy for you).

A peanut butter and banana sandwich is real good too, but dont use the crap white bread, get some good whole grain organic bread!

hope this helps. Oh and dont forget to blend. Its great when its blended because its easy for your body to absorb and you dont need to break down the food.

So basically you want to replenish your body with good organic food. Make sure you include some protein because that will help your muscles recover.

Pasta is good too but its even better about 2 hours before your workout to give you the energy you need (bananas are also good for energy).

So i bought a used wii tonight and i used 25,000 reward points to get a $ 25 off coupon i want to return this used wii to gamestop and buy a brand new one. Will they still give me $ 25 off?

I have not done this before, but knowing gamestop you should be able to do that. They probably wont give you a new coupon, but just take the $ 25 off the purchase of the new Wii. If you want to, you can call your local store to see, or just go there and they will tell you. Make sure you bring your power up card along with any receipts.

Chickpea salad
– 1 can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
– 1 lebanese cucumber
– 3 small tomatoes
– 3 big radishes
– 1 carrot
– 1 onion, sliced
– 1 garlic glove
– 1/2 avocado
– a handfull of flax seeds
– juice of 1 lemon and 2 table spoons of extra virgin olive oil for dressing
– salt, pepper

Peas soup
– Mustard seeds
– Black pepper seeds
– 2 garlic gloves
– 1 onion
– 1 cup of vegetable stock (or water)
– 250-300 g of frozen peas

Take an average size sauce pan. Heat up mustard seeds and pepper seeds in olive oil until seeds start to pop. Add chopped garlic and onions. When onions nice and soft add peas. Roast until melted and soft. Pour stock, bring to the boil, add salt and pepper, simmer for few minutes. Blend in food processor.
P.S. because peas are kind of sweet, u might want to increase amount of garlic, salt and pepper.

The Ultimate Lunch Combo doesn’t sound so bad
Have the Bowl of Soup and the House Salad (Avoid Creamy soups)
Or have the House Salad and the Loaded Baked Potato
Really any salad is a good choice, just limit toppings and get a lite/ fat free dressing (Or none) 🙂
Just enjoy yourself, even if you choose a higher calorie meal, one day shouldn’t make hardly any difference 😀

Sorry – I don’t know if you interested in another chicken receipe BUT it tastes amazing and is low fat 😉

Chicken Yoghurt Char-Grilled

Serves: 6 person(s)

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

4 skinless chicken fillets
250 g Jalna Skim Milk Natural Yoghourt
1 onion, chopped
2 Tbsp oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 Tbsp ground cumin
200 g Jalna Premium Blend Creamy Yoghourt or BioDynamic Yoghourt
2 Tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
1 pinch salt and pepper

Directions:

Dip the chicken fillets in the Jalna Skim Milk Natural Yoghourt until well coated, cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.

Heat the char-grill. Brush the yoghourt from the chicken fillets and discard it. Dry the chicken pieces on paper towels, then grill them, until very brown and no pink juices run out when pierced with a fork. Allow 15-20 minutes, turning them once.

Meanwhile, fry the onion in the oil until soft and starting to brown. Add the garlic and ground cumin and continue cooking over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Puree the onion mixture with the 200g of Jalna Premium Blend Creamy Yoghourt or BioDynamic Yoghourt in a food processor or blender. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the fresh coriander, then heat the mixture gently in a small saucepan. Do not boil the sauce, or it will separate.

Taste the sauce for seasoning and keep warm. Pile the chicken onto a serving dish and spoon over the sauce. Serve hot or at room temperature.

Variations:

Serve with a variety of roasted, grilled or steamed vegetables. Serving suggestion is not included in the nutritional analysis.

It depends on what you are making, if you are making a sandwich with mayonnaise on it, you can use fat free vanilla yogurt and it will taste pretty similar.
