Question by joe g: In the state of Florida, how do they calculate sales tax when a customer uses a coupon?
For some states it depends if it is a manufacturer’s or retailer’s coupon. Some states it doesn’t matter. Usually the tax is calculated after the discount is taken, but I want to verify this if anybody knows.

i live and work in florida… we take the coupon off 1st then add in the sales taxes.
