Question by newmommie: Will eating meals using recipes from the show Healthy Appetite with Ellie Krieger ONLY keep me healthy?
I’ve been trying some of Ellie Krieger’s recipes and they all taste really good, but are all the recipes from her show really healthy for you? I’m not concerend about losing weight at all. I got sick a few years ago to the point I had to have surgery and have had digestive issues since, so I’m really concerned about what I eat now. I’m trying to make a lifetime meal plan (meaning breakfast, lunch, dinner & a snack) based on pure healthy recipes & since Ellie Krieger is a nutritionist, I would think her recipes would be some of the healthiest out there, so I’m planning on making my meals using ONLY her recipes. I’ve never been overweight so that’s not my concern at all in choosing recipes, I just want recipes that are supposed to be really healthy for me & that will keep me from getting sick or getting any diseases such as heart disease, diabetes or cancer later on. I’m especially looking for recipes that will help with my digestive issues. Am I on the right track using her recipes?
I know exercise will help too, but the reason I wrote ‘ONLY’ in my question above, is that I meant that the only foods / meals I plan on eating for a while are meals prepared using Ellie Krieger’s recipes. I don’t mean that all I plan to do is eat healthy food to stay healthy, I also plan on still exercising and of course avoiding things that I know are bad for you like cigarettes, alcohol etc. Also, trying to keep my stress levels down becuz I’ve heard stress can cause you to become sick and stay sick. But like I mentioned before, I plan on eating only foods / meals that are made using Ellie’s recipes as one of the steps to keep myself healthy. I’m trying to make sure I ONLY eat foods / meals that are good for me and will help me stay healthy.
