I appologise for it’s length, it took me ages to get it to where it is now. I would really like to hear your points of view on the video both from a content and construction point of view. I’d like to make better videos for you all. I hope you’ve enjoyed watching it and that it might have given you something to think about. People who are obese are looking for simple methods to reduce the excess weight. You have to understand that it is hard to reduce weight. Those who want to shed of their excess weight should concentrate on taking proper diet with exercises. Over weight is due to unused calories. The food which you take has calories which are essential for normal functioning of the body. All of us take excess calories to keep going with the regular lifestyle. When you have less physical exercise and continue taking more calories, the unused calories are converted into fat and stored in the body for future use.

As more and more fat accumulates in the body, you will start gaining weight. To reduce weight and be in perfect shape, you have to try to increase calories burnt and take fewer calories. With correct diet, you can do both these. There are various foods that contain larger amount of calories. You should avoid fat foods like cheese, ghee, butter and those made of sugar.

Many people starve to reduce their weight. This is bad because you deny nutrition to your body by starving. Your body wants necessary nutrients and your food provides these nutrients. You should eat a balanced diet with enough amounts of protein, vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, and fat. Your dietician can organize a diet plan for you which you can use to achieve weight loss.

Just by regulating the intake of foods, you will not be able to reduce weight. Exercises are essential to reduce weight. You have to practice a regular exercising program to achieve your weight loss goal. If you are sluggish, you can never lose weight. When you exercise regularly, you burn more calories. With balanced diet, you consume fewer calories daily. While exercising, your body demands more energy. To meet the greater demand, your body burns the stored fat to supply energy. As your body burns more and more fat, you lose weight.

Lack of nutritious diet and proper exercises are the major reasons behind obesity. A change in your lifestyle will only give you a change in your body shape. Apart from physical looks, you should reduce your weight for health reasons too. Diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attack affect obese people easily. Inorder to lead a hale and hearty life, you have to maintain optimal weight suitable for your height and age. By reducing your excess weight, you regain your shape which boosts your self-confidence.

What has happened to us? There once was a time when we would all come home from school or work and sit down with our families and enjoy the ritual of family mealtime. It was the best meal of the day, offering a wide variety of nutrition and family conversation.

Today, less than half of American families eat dinner together and when they do, these meals last less than 20 minutes and are lacking in proper nutrition. The fact is our life styles have changed from those magical days of Ozzie and Harriet. Thanks to the Internet, cell phones and palm pilots, business is conducted on an almost 24/7 basis. Even conversations with our children are often times through text messages or cell phone. Sporting events and outside activities for children have become almost maniacal in the demands made upon the family. It has become a race against time so that we can fit it all in. Something has to give, and that unfortunately has been the family dinner hour.

When we squeeze out the family dinner we sacrifice more than you could ever imagine. According to a study conducted by the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University, the children that dined regularly with their families were 31 per cent less likely to smoke, drink or take drugs and do better in school.

Healthy self-esteem for children can be built around a family dinner table. Parents can take the time to listen and help their children sort out the struggles of the day without interference of phones, tv’s and computers.

Our hectic life styles only give time for overly processed foods or even worse “fast foods.” This poor nutrition has resulted in children contracting what was once considered “adult diseases” at an alarming rate. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and obesity all stem from poor nutrition and processed foods.

Not only is the family dinner hour a great time to catch up on each other’s lives, it also offers more tangible benefits. Family dinner hour can improve grades at school and promote a richer vocabulary. Younger family members that do not have the interaction of speaking within the family group often struggle with poor communication skills. In troubling times such as these, the routine of a family meal helps to ease tensions and frustrations of teens and young children by receiving guidance and assurance through other family members.

Planning these meals, shopping for the ingredients, and to a lesser extent, cooking the dinners, is a time consuming task. In many cases, time needed for both professional careers and for the children’s extra-curricular activities make it nearly impossible to coordinate the family dinner. However, now more than ever, it is important to invest this time. The dividends are worth the effort. Today, make your family feel special. Prepare a nutritious meal and sit down to a family dinner. Find out what is up with your children and make the time to talk with each one. Unplug the world and plug into your children for one hour ever day.

Good health can be obtain in any way but health can’t be maintain for ex- if you want to make a good body you are doing continue two to three months exercise and going gyms. And at last you got a Good body with good health but you can maintain it tell your death it can’t be possible for any person to maintain it. Because today generation is very much fond of smoking. When they smoke their lungs become weak, it also decrease the level of your energy and make your body weak that is the end of your fit body. If you’re a healthy weight and you feel good most of the time, you might think you don’t need to worry about a healthy eating plan.   You might be one of the lucky ones who just instinctively chooses the right foods and never really has to give much conscious thought to what you put in your mouth.  Or you might be one of the lucky people who seems to able to eat anything and never have a problem. 

If you’re like the rest of us, though, you have to be very careful about what you eat.  A healthy eating plan might not be something we all consciously think about, but we should.  Most of us try to make healthy choices each time we eat something, and we might even quickly consider what else we’ve eaten that day or week before we eat again.  But we usually lack an overall picture of our diets.

Most of us really don’t realize how much fat we eat, for instance.  And most of us eat far too much sugar without even knowing it.  We don’t usually worry about following a healthy eating plan until we need to lose weight, or until our doctor tells us our cholesterol, blood sugar or blood pressure is too high.  Or worse, our doctor tells us that all of those things need improvement. 

That’s when most of us suddenly decide we need a healthy eating plan. But if we had been following a healthy diet, we might have never had health or weight problems to begin with.  So it’s never too early to start formulating a plan for healthy eating, not only to stay at a healthy weight (or lose weight, if need be) but to stave off those problems that so many other people face like diabetes and high blood pressure.

If people in your family tend to develop diabetes later in life, or if there’s a history of heart disease, high cholesterol or high blood pressure, then the sooner you start following a healthy eating plan, the better.  You’ll be less likely to develop those same diseases if you start taking care of yourself now.  And the good news is it’s never too late. 

You might think you’ve spent 40 or more years eating what you want and you’re probably already headed toward those illnesses—and you might be right. But if you start following a healthy diet today, lose any excess weight, and make conscious choices about what you eat (and how much exercise you get) you automatically lower your risks for developing those diseases.

It’s especially important to follow a healthy diet, not just for yourself, but for your children and other family members.  Kids do as they see you do.  If you show that nutrition and health are important, your kids are more likely to grow up concerned about health, too.  And they’ll have a better chance at avoiding those same illnesses. A healthy eating plan can help you, and get them off on the right foot.
