Answer by jgsinglemom I have always believed that it is best to eat small meals and snacks every two to three hours to stay healthy. My usual meal will consist of 3 oz lean protein, a cup of carbs and vegetables. I also have a wide variety of snacks that I like to eat that are listed on my buzz blog in my sources section.

Young children, even toddlers, can become finicky eaters and display behavioral issues during mealtimes. Often parents will resort to demanding that their children eat certain amounts of food, and the entire meal becomes a battle of wills. If this is the situation, parents need to take a step back and review some important elements. Parents should provide healthy meals and snacks at predictable and consistent times for their children. If a child has been eating healthy foods throughout the day and comes to the dinner table and refuses to eat, it might truly be that the child is not hungry at that point, and therefore should not be forced to eat. On the other hand, children will sometimes claim they are not hungry because they do not like what is being served. Parents can encourage children to just try with one taste of each food item, and then allow them to not eat if that is their choice. It is important then for the parent to follow through and either not allow the child to eat again until the next meal time, or to save the dinner plate and serve that food again when the child is hungry. Question by : Don’t you love how fat lazy Republicans attack the first lady for promoting healthy eating habits?
I guess they just don’t want to feel bad because they took that third helping at Golden Corral last night, huh?
Answer by Israel Woods I don’t care what she preaches. It’s the thing about school bake sales being illegal. It’s the soda tax. Free speech stops at speech.
Fact: I’m neither fat nor lazy and neither is my child. We’re pretty good looking, in fact.
If she doesn’t want to be criticized for the legislative power then she should just shut up.
Question by : I have killed my metabolism by not making healthy eating habits and not exercising?
Is there anything I can do to boost my metabolism? Like walking? Any specific vegetable or something? My whole life I have ate junk and laid around and my metabolism is shot. I’m wondering if it will always be really slow or if you can build it up again?
Answer by Kevin Start exercising and eating right. Cut out the junk food and start walking. Move on to better exercise when you can.

For healthy recipes VISIT: www.MissReece.com I’m tired of reading all of these false diets and false weight loss tips that are NOT ideal for real people. Real people have jobs, not enough time to workout, and cannot spend money on all of these phony fad diets. I lost over 21 pounds and am still losing without dieting. I started focusing on losing weight last year a little before September of 2011. It took a few months to get into a fully focused mode. When I focused I lost the weight! I didn’t gain weight because I was eating bad. When I moved to New York it became extremely difficult to work out because the lifestyle is so different here as opposed to LA where I hike everyday. I didn’t do it with a diet or pills and I was able to keep my curves. It’s been a fun transformation for me. I had a “make under” 6 weeks ago, a breast reduction. I haven’t been able to work out, because of it I had to learn to adjust my eating to maintain the weight I have lost which is what motivated me to share my journey in these wight loss blogs. This first blog I discuss protein shakes, bars, cooking and the unfortunate Hollywood pressure many women suffer which makes them want to get skinny or alter their bodies to fit in. Get healthy not skinny! I have also added a few before and after pics. I know those are always helpful. I hope you enjoy my series of weight loss blogs. This is one of many to come 🙂 Video Rating: 4 / 5
