Expecting mom. Cloth diaper vs disposable. Very confused?

Question by zen: Expecting mom. Cloth diaper vs disposable. Very confused?
I’m expecting my first child this March. I want to be frugal and economical.. I am a stay at home mom. I want to use cloth diapers. But I’m not sure if I would be able to manage with a new born all alone (Washing and cleaning the diapers). I want to try them first. How do I find out if cloth diapers are the best. I don’t want to invest a lot and later find out that it doesn’t work. Will I be able to manage all by myself?
I will have to wash them by hand bcos I live in an appartment. using the washer dryer everyday is gonna cost a lot.

If you make time then it will work. It takes 1 minute to rinse out a poopy diaper. It takes 1 minute to load the wash machine. It takes 1 minute to transfer the dryer. It takes 5 minutes to fold everything and put it away. I am sure you can find 10 minutes a day broken up into 1 minute here and there to get it done.
