Question by kailismom: What healthy food can I send to daycare for my 13 month old to eat for lunch?
My daughter is 13 months old and has been eating lunch meat, cheese and veggies for lunch at daycare. Recently, she has become bored with her lunches. What can I send (finger food – she likes to feed herself) that is healthy for her? The Graduate meals are expensive and I’d rather she ate non-processed foods. Any suggestions?
Answer by Joey R Peel and seperate some clementines for her and put them in a small plastic bag that the daycare provider can open for her at lunchtime. Look at some of your more healthful cereal bars with the fruit inside. Sorry thats all I can think of right now.
Question by itscrystal21: I need some healthy food ideas for my kids to go to daycare with. I work full time so easy foods but healthy?
Answer by Brandy A Carrot sticks, PB&J on whole wheat bread, dried or fresh fruits, cheese cubes, seriously the list goes on and on. Just use whole grain breads to make sandwhiches, and stay away from processed, sugary foods.
