Receta de polenta básica
Ingredientes para 4-6 personas
– 6 tazas de agua o caldo
– 2 cucharaditas de sal
– 1 cucharada de aceite de oliva
– 2 tazas de harina de maíz
Pon el agua a hervir. Añade la sal y echa la polenta poco a poco removiendo bien para que no se hagan grumos. La proporción de agua/polenta cada uno me da una distinta, yo uso más o menos 4 a 1. Pero no es demasiado importante, total, hay que seguir removiendo hasta que quede una masa consistente. Eso te llevará de 10 a 30 minutos, dependiendo del agua y del tipo de polenta que tengas a mano.
Puedes usar caldo en vez de sólo agua, o añadir cualquier cosa para que le dé sabor. Yo en esta receta usé sofrito de ajos tiernos, aunque mucha gente le pone queso. La polenta sola no te la recomiendo, queda demasiado sosa.

I discovered the recipe for these healthy cookies several years ago and have been making them ever since. These little cookies make wonderful on the go snacks. They’re packed full of all kinds of healthy ingredients and you can be at peace knowing there’s no high fructose corn syrup, soy protein isolate, artificial colors, flavors, partially hydrogenated fats, GMO ingredients or any of that scary stuff.
