Should stay-at-home mom expect help with her bills from fiance? Or is that asking too much?

Question by luvmybaby: Should stay-at-home mom expect help with her bills from fiance? Or is that asking too much?
I am stay-at-home mom, NO income. My fiance (baby’s father) agrees that it is best for me to be at home with our baby. I have not worked in a year, and have gone through all I had saved. He pays all the bills, rent, food, etc. We have a nice house and comfortable life. I have some bills every month that until now i have managed to pay on my own (insurance, phone, some others). Right now my account is overdrawn, and I am very depressed about money. I can’t even go buy a candy bar on my own. Is it too much to ask him for help with my bills and some spending money (I am very frugal, not for expensive items.) He takes good care of us, and I am appreciative, but flat broke.

Get a job, instead of making your fiance pay all the bills, women wanted equal equality so go out and get yourself a job to help bring home the bacon. You did state he is paying all of the bills, rent, food, etc, perhaps you should get a part-time job to pay for your novelties that you desire, I.e cell phone, internet, food, clothes, etc…

Creating a blog is easy and there are several places where you can do that.

You can create on here at Yahoo! 360
http://360.yahoo.com/login.html?.done=http%3A%2F%2F360.yahoo.com%2F&.src=360
Then you have blogger (posts as blogspot)
https://www.blogger.com/start
Livejournal
http://www.livejournal.com/
Worldpress
http://wordpress.com/

And then sites such as
http://www.myspace.com/
http://www.facebook.com/
http://www.xanga.com/

Personally I like Yahoo! 360 and Blogger the best and I find them easy to use.

Your largest problem will be to get people to read the blog and actually send postcards. You’ll need to find ways to draw attention to your blog without spamming other blogs and forums.

The other day I found a blog about a 100 year old woman on blogspot. =) So your granny won’t be the only one. Unfortunately I forgot to save the url for the blog.
